Comcast was given the exciting opportunity for a full-stadium giveaway on Hispanic Heritage Day and planned on creating flags to commemorate the day and to promote the new Xfinity cable service they had recently launched.
The team at Comcast was sitting on a delivery of flags that arrived with the wrong colors and incorrect graphics from another supplier and a stadium giveaway was scheduled only three weeks away. Comcast had nothing to give fans on Hispanic Heritage Day. The Houston Texans pointed the team to My Corporate Expressions to find products that were within budget, could be delivered on time and would go over well with fans.
By offering Comcast a variety of possible options that could be used for their stadium giveaway and having samples overnighted to them, Comcast chose to go with a full-color bandana. Within a 3-week period, MCE was able to source, produce, and deliver 50,000 bandanas to the stadium.
The bandanas won fans over on the game day and were so popular that it was used as a giveaway for two successive years. The product was printed correctly, delivered on time and helped promote Comcast’s commitment to sponsorship.
